Some members of my group share the same email address. Is it possible to have more than one participant with the same address?
You can create many participants with the same email address. The emails are always sent to the person concerned. Please note that the results of the draw are never sent via email.
No, there is no limit. The group may take the proportions that you desire, there is absolutely no problem.

Microsoft had the brilliant idea to incorporate a feature for compatibility with earlier versions of Internet Explorer. When you enable this mode, the browser may begin to slow down significantly on the site until completely frozen. To disable this compatibility mode, click the small icon that looks like a torn piece of paper which is right next to the address bar. If you dont' want anymore surprises like this from a browser I strongly recommend you use Google Chrome.

Select the participant in the list, click on the button with an envelope and use the link "Write to this member" you will then be asked if you want this message to be sent anonymously.

I am a member of two groups on the site, but I have to go through authentication to pass from one to another?
To correct the problem, you should change your profile information so that the two accounts are identical. The name, email address and password must be the same for each account you want to merge.
Use the link at the top right in the menu bar with the ladybug icon, where it says: "Report a bug". We will answer as quickly as possible.
Yes just above the gift list, on the right, there are two small arrows. Select the gift and click on the appropriate arrow to move it up or down the list.

When the manager resets the last exchange, your previous wish list will still be valid since many people are going to reuse some of the suggestions they had in previous exchanges. For this reason, the list should not be visible to avoid that the person who picked you is mistakenly led to beleive that she can buy gifts from your old outdated list. This situation could happen to latecomers. To avoid this, you will notice a "Publish" button below the wish list in a red box. Click it when your list is ready, it will then allow others to see your new updated list.
The registration link I received from my group manager constantly brings me back to home page. How can I join my group?
Your registration link is no longer valid probably because your organizer deleted your account shortly after sending the invitation, even though your account was recreated shortly after. Ask him to send you a personal invitation.

You have to reset the exchange in the Exchange section. This will allow you to launch the draw again. Remember to inform your participants by sending an email to the whole group in the exchange tab.
The names and spouses are no longer editable once the participant has registered for the simple reason that if you change this information he will not be able to join the group. The participant can change his own information.
Yes, go to the exchange section, open the component "Home page message" and enter your message. It will flash red for a few seconds when a participant logs in.
Yes, go to the profiles section, select your name from the list and check "I do not want to be part of the draw." Obviously you will be able to do this only until the draw is launched.
Yes, in the participants profiles section, click on the serrated wheel and go to the link "Edit profile" there is a drop-down menu labeled "Will not draw this person (spouse)". Form couples in that section.

Yes, when you come back the following year, the members, gifts, spouses, etc. is kept. All you will need to do is reset the exchange and repeat the process, including the draw and the invitations.
Yes, go to the gift exchange site, select the group to remove if you are already part of several groups. Go to the exchange tab and open the last option that is titled: remove this group. Please note that all group parameters are editable. You do not have to remove it.
Sometimes in certain situations, the emails sent are mistaken for spam by spam filters. Tell the participant to go to the spam folder for this purpose in his email options. After the correction the user should be able to receive future invitations. However, please note that Facebook will block all messages sent from anybody not part of the friend list. You sould therefore use another email address to prevent this problem from occuring.
Once connected to your group, click the "add participant" button above the list of participants. This is obviously impossible if a draw has already been conducted. You must re-launch the draw beforehand.
By inserting some participants from your group in an exclusion group, it will be impossible for them to draw each other. This option is ideal for exchanges involving children or simply to avoid conflicts amongst people who do not like each other.
Yes there are several options available to you. You can define for each profile, who is their spouse, which allows you to choose the option "Avoid spouses from drawing each other" in the options of the draw. You can check the option "avoid mutual draw" which will, for example prevent Suzy from drawing Mark, if Mark drew Suzy. You can also use the "Avoid drawing the same person as in the last draw" but this restriction will only be possible if you reuse the same group year after year (see the question on reusing a group) . Finally, using the "Use exclusions groups" option, you can define groups of people who will not be able to draw each other.
Can I reuse the same group year after year, even though participants have to be added or removed from the draw?
Yes if you want to start a new exchange it's simple! Visit the "Exchange" section and reset the draw. This will void the draw in progress which will allow you to make a new invitation, to add, change or remove the group participants (Profiles section) and to launch a new draw. It is strongly discouraged to create a new group from scratch, because your members could be confused and connect to the wrong group. Moreover, by doing so, you can use the option that prevents a person from drawing the same person as last time.
Go to the "Exchange" section and select the "Hide the wish lists of the other participants" option.
